The market finished off a nice week and is looking at more earning reports in the coming week. With the financials bouncing solidly, the market showed some good signals of finding the bottom:

last week, the market had a pretty good week. Oil came down and the money rolled into techs. QQQQ is already back to where it was 2 weeks ago. The market was pretty steady on Friday, with the Dow down 7.9 points, SPX adding +2.21, and Nasdaq gaining +14.34 points.

So, the market broke higher last week and caught the daily upper BB (see charts). Nasdaq closed above 2500 and SPX closed just above 1425. VIX kept on sliding and has been riding its daily lower BB lower.

As mentioned in my Weekly Wrap, the market ended down last week, with some commodity sectors acting strong. The Dow ended the week down 312.32 points; SPX lost 25.62 points; Nasdaq slid 31.47 points. The techs held up pretty well, but, the financials were weak.

What a week!! The volatility was way high, jumping from 17 to above 24!! Most sectors were down, but, we managed to make some good money buying puts!!
