This morning, a +7.4% jump in existing home sales gave investors something to cheer about! All top 10 holdings of XHB (S&P Homebuilders ETF) made gains:

The market showed modest strength today bouyed up by commoditiy-related sectors as steel companies reported strong earnings. Market was strong out of the gate; and, it got stronger as the day went!! Investors cheered the favorable retailer and jobs data that came out this morning. The rally was broad-based, lead by coals, steels, and agriculture. Solar plays also rebounded nicely.
