Last weekend, in my Market Forecast, I said:
"For the new week, the market looks to be on its way to break higher. The daily upper BBs have opened up; the 10-day MAs are crossing above the 20-day MAs. In addition, the 30-day MAs are trying to turn up. These are all bullish signals. This weekend, China announced […]

Just this Monday, things seemed ready to break out with the Chinese yuan finally loosening its peg to the dollar. A couple of bad housing reports and a few days later, this market is at the verge of breaking down again! SPX shot up above 1131 on Monday morning; today, it closed below 1080, at 1073.69. […]

The market opened higher this morning, but, immediately started to slide. Euro was also higher this morning, and it too, slipped from the open. As the Euro went lower and lower, so did the market. If you have been reading my articles, you would know that I have been more and more bearish about the […]
Last weekend, in my Market Forecast, I wrote:
"For the new week, how the market does on Monday will be very important. On Sunday, Euro partners agreed to a $145 billion bailout plan for Greece. We’ll have to see how the market reacts to that piece of news. But, there are potentially more negative news to […]

The market opened lower today. The dollar jumped on more worries on Greece and the commodity sectors were weak. However, jobless claims numbers fell and housing sales jumped. The market soon staged a dramatic upswing. Techs led the way. AAPL reached a new all-time high at $266.75, passing MSFT as the second largest company on […]

Fertilizers were among the first ones to be bought. CF, in particular, bounced on heavy buy volume after opening below $100/share; it ended up $4.60, or +4.56%, to […]

The market opened slightly higher this morning. But, within the first 30 minutes from the open, the market slid into the red. Before the end of the first hour, the market started to drop sharply! In the Trading Room, I warned our members promptly:

Last weekend, in my Market Forecast, I said,
"For the new week, the market still looks strong, but, may need a quick breather early in the week. If the market can keep its altitude while taking a breather, it could easily end higher by the end of the week. On the other hand, if the market […]
