The market was stronger today, boosted by a rally in the biotech sector. The agricultural stocks also continued to show strength. In addition, steel stocks displayed solid performances. Hanging On: SPX, Nasdaq, CMP, POT, AMAT, DNA

The market started out high, as Buffett offered to help bond insurers. But, it slowly faded, until the techs lost their lead. The market is still hanging on, though. Review 10/15/07: SPX, Nasdaq, DNA, WENR, TLAB, SIRF
