Review 5/30/07: DOW, SPX, Nasdaq, SOX, BTK, OIH, GLD

The DOW has been quiet for a few days…and then…BAM!! POW!! BOOM!! Another new high, closing above 13600, baby!!

This, and the fact that AAPL just surpassed $100 billion in market cap, calls for a celebration!!

Hope you all made good money today!!

SP500 closed above 1530 and Nasdaq is attacking 2600 again! SOX was lagging and couldn’t quite make it in the green. BTK is consolidating upwards and closed above its daily MAs today. GLD continues to tread water around 65, while OIH woke up and tacked on nearly 4 points, closing above 170!

Nasdaq

Nasdaq is knocking on 2600 again with its 20+ point gain today! It is pushing the daily upper BB open, hinting for more upwards movements. The 10- and 20-day MAs are both curving up and the MACD is almost positive. Let’s see if Nasdaq can close the week above 2600!

SPX

SPX closed above 1530!! It has also caught up with its upper BB. The daily MAs are nicely in their bullish formation. Let’s see if SPX can get a new all-time high soon!

That was a fun day today! With the major indices catching their daily upper BBs, it bodes well for this bull run to continue. But, don’t forget to lock in your profits!!

PCP is joining SP500! Should be an interesting one tomorrow!
